The music of the Eagles is timeless and has influenced many artists over the past 45 years. It does not easily fit into any category yet within it you can hear a subtle blend of pop, rock, country and a style all of their own. To contemplate a tribute show to a band of this calibre and with such a legacy of songs, is a daunting task indeed. Yet this is exactly what “West Coast Eagles” have done. Formed in 2014 the band have built a reputation of superb precision musicianship and layered with superb vocal harmonies.

Experienced Musicians

Each member of the band has been working in the music industry for over 30 years with many top name cabaret, show band and tribute acts. Names such as Sight n Sound, Jackie Graham, Quill, Desperado, Q2, killer Queen and Lack of Commitment to name but a few.

The Perfect Package

The love of great music, musicianship, fabulous harmony vocals and a sheer enjoyment of playing have been bought together in one package. “West Coast Eagles”. Sit back, “ take it easy ” feel the warmth of a “Tequila Sunrise” and the cool wind in your hair. The west coast eagles as stated previously started life in late 2014 with the line up comprising of Dave Thompson, Terry Hill, Dave Bates, Glenn Mason, and Roy Lord. This line up stayed together until December 2019 when drummer Glenn Mason left for personal reasons. At this point Harvey Eggington joined the band in January 2020 only for the whole world to be hit by covid. It took nearly 12 months before everything to get back to normal. Eventually things got better and in 2022 the band did its first tour of Cyprus after having to cancel in both 2020 and 2021. We toured Cyprus again in 2023 but had to take a stand in bass player as Dave Bates’s wife was very ill. Enter Paul Gibbons bass player who did a great job. By the end of 2023 Dave’s wife took a turn for the worse and he decided to retire from the band to look after her. Once again enter Paul Gibbons bass player who joined the band on a permanent basis. So the present line up has been together sine January 2024 and going from strength to strength.
